We are currently looking for:

Cloud Consultant

We are looking for experienced Cloud Consultant to join our team. The post holder will be responsible for investigating a wide range of technical issues and also working on numerous projects including on-boarding new clients.

The successful candidate should be a driven individual with analytical thinking, that enjoys problem solving and taking control of situations to deliver technical solutions whilst putting our customers’ needs first.

The candidate should have recent knowledge and be able to utilise the market leading technology vendors i.e. HP, Veeam, VMware, Microsoft, Hyper-V, O365, Cisco and Meraki.

The post holder will be hands-on with design, administration, support and maintenance of IT systems, applications, services and servers.

The post holder will be supporting their client base using remote tools however occasional travel to client sites might be necessary.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Incident management
  • Diagnose and resolve all technical issues
  • Liaise direct with customers regarding technical issues
  • Design and implementation of new projects/migrations
  • Assist other members of the team

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A high level of technical skills is essential for this role, with a fundamental understanding of Networking, Microsoft products and virtualization.
  • At least 5 years’ experience within the IT industry
  • Good general understanding of application, desktop, server, storage, networking and virtualization technologies
  • Able to work well as part of a team and individually
  • Maintain awareness of new technologies
  • Ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Strong technical knowledge of core IT systems such as AD, DNS, DHCP, Networking
  • Excellent analytical thinking
  • Ability to follow complex technical instructions
  • Ability to translate technical terms to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Excellent Customer service skills is a MUST

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with virtual infrastructure (VMWare)
  • Worked within a Level 2/3 IT Support team
  • 5-10 years’ experience within the IT industry
  • Experience with the market leading technology vendors i.e. HP, Veeam, VMware, Microsoft, Hyper-V, 365, Cisco and Meraki

Qualifications Required:

Although no formal qualifications are essential for this role, the successful candidate should have relevant work related experience, attained a good all-round standard of education and have a good knowledge of current IT technologies.

Following certification will be highly beneficial:

  • MCSE, MCITP
  • VmWare
  • CCNA
  • Comptia A+
  • Comptia Network+

Cloud Support Engineer Apprentice

As an established IT Service Cloud Provider we are looking for an Cloud Support Engineer Apprentice who will work with the IT technical team and report to the operations manager.

The Role

As Cloud Support Engineer, you will assist with all technical support calls logged from our clients overseen by Evolve Group’s technical team members.

A primary function of the role will be answers incoming technical support calls to the office, logging cases within our service desk ticketing system, following procedures and monitoring progress of active tickets.

Knowledge

You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator with strong attention to detail along with being highly organised, proactive & professional.
